A simple question really. I was playing with some friends on Helldivers II today, and we were playing on difficulty six. Unfortunately during both matches we got absolutely screwed by bots and bugs. However, bugs are definitely worse. They group up more in packs, and all of them are quite fast and sneaky so they jumpscare you when you least expect it. Sure, you can bring a flamethrower or any kind of fire weapon, but then you catch yourself on fire. And don't even get me started on the elite enemies for the Termaiids! The Bile Titan and the Impaler are some of the most annoying enemies to deal with in the game. Especially when you put two EAT rounds into the side of a Bile Titan and it just shrugs it off and continues its rampage. The Impalers are a little easier to deal with though, just dive whenever they try to hit you. And aim for their weakspot which is the orange part under their carapace.
So yeah. Bugs are a lot worse than bots. Bots can really just be dealt with by a machine gun and EAT rounds. I also saw a new enemy in the game today that I've never seen before! It was called a War Strider and it looked like a cool mech that was being piloted---definitely one of my favorite enemy designs in the game. Does that make me a traitor?
